Google India on Friday announced a three-day ‘Developer Students Club’ (DSC) summit in Goa. It aims to create a pool of workforce in the country that is highly-skilled.
The summit aims to give Indian students a head-start on Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Mobile and Web Development technologies. It will be held from February 23 to 25.
“To broaden access to world-class technology curricula for students, we are delighted to launch the ‘Developer Students Club’ summit that would make it easy for students and developers to gain the skills they need to be successful in the changing technology landscape,” William Florance, Developer Products Group and Skilling Lead, Google, said in a statement.
The inaugural batch will see the participation of 200 students from 170 colleges belonging to 98 cities.
The students will attend a series of sessions by experts from Google and industry, which will teach them about various emerging technologies. Besides, one-to-one mentoring activities.
University innovation fellows from across the country will conduct a ‘Design Thinking’ workshop at the summit.
